BZ1, I was at Mickey's camp a couple years ago and I worked with a new official. It wasn't his first season -- it was his first game, ever! He probably didn't have a "great camp" by most people's standards, but he learned a lot and got better as a result.

I'm sure you feel that you could've done better, but I'm equally sure that you learned some very important things: court coverage, from Edgar; dealing with coaches, from Reggie; what an assignor really looks for, from Brad; etc. Focus on those things and if you weren't keeping notes at camp, write some of them down so you can incorporate them into your game next season. Jack and Reggie give very practical advice, so I hope you got the chance to be observed by them.

And also on the positive side, I bet you didn't have any of your games rained out!
