I think you're talking about
patent leather shoes. Most of us wear leather and they're not that noticeable. But the patents are the shiny ones that don't need polishing.
Personally, I don't like them. I think they look "fake". But I know lots of guys that do have them, so I don't think they're a no-no from a uniform standpoint. I don't know where you'd get them, tho. I would just try the normal online distributors. Somebody will be along later today to give you a direct link for them, I'm sure.
