The croquet match is an annual affair in the summer. Admission is charged and all proceeds go to the Lions Club camp for the blind. The highlight came a few years ago when our local State Representative at the time (a buddy of mine) playing for the Lions Club lost to an old lady with a walker! I swear he did not throw the match. He's just that bad. He has a new job now. He's in charge of our state's prison system. Heaven help us!  |
