The Redding's Guide is a study aide:

It does not cover any mechanics. It is an excellent resource for both NFHS and NCAA rules. The guide uses simplified language and examples that make learning, understanding, and applying the rules much easier than by reading the rule and case books only. In the past, I've purchased both but this year I plan on only getting the NCAA version. They are money well spent!
