You make too many presumptions. Some of us have quite a bit experience at the upper levels (2 world cups,5 men's majors, 1 men's A, and HCS). Yes, they are slowpitch, but that is by choice. I prefer that game and it would not be fair to place myself into a slot when other umpires deserve a national. I have worked numerous NQs and Regional FP tournaments and have had the privilege of being the UIC for a 16U National, so I'm not "inexperienced" as one may presume just because I haven't worked the games at your level.
