Per the article, the WAC has reprimanded U of Nevada head coach Mark Fox for his behavior toward game officials and police during the 2007 WAC Tournament. It is interesting to note that the last time the WAC suspended a coach was nearly a decade ago (Feb. 10, 1998).
The best quote in the article: "A public reprimand is just pretty much what it says," Chaffin told The Associated Press from WAC headquarters in Denver. "
It's not really penalizing. It would go in the file and next time something like this happens, more stringent penalties could occur."
I guess they have the "Steve Howe 8 Strikes and Your Out" rule in the WAC...
