I can understand why MLB made the rule. Some of the players were getting ridiculous with their posses in the dugout. Jason Giambi was bad with his own personal trainers a few years ago--always checking to see if he was down a pint on his roids. Barry Bonds was even worse with his his trainer, valet, shoe-shine boy, butler, etc. But when you're also stopping an icon like Pesky from sitting on the bench, then you're just getting plain stoopid imo. Somebody forgot to use their heads on this one.
