Norm is great at being a coach/referee. In the mini-ball comps that he refs the majority of the players (and coaches) know nothing about the game. He is fantastic at educating players, coaches and parents - but not belittling the kids playing or making them feel stupid.
He may be getting old, and his legs and eyesight aren't what they used to be - but a lot of refees could learn from him.
