1) What is the rule on a 3rd strike foul tip if the ball gets lodged in the catchers armpit without hitting his glove first.
Not a foul tip. Foul Ball.
2) What if the ball hits his glove then bounces off his mask and then is caught?
Not a foul tip: Third Strike Caught.
Is the hitter still out? Yes. Not entitled to try for 1st.
