I read it differently. I think Tim either missed or chose to ignore the point of the post he responded to.

I would agree that there is good HS baseball across this country - as well as "not so good".

While the gentleman from N.C. suggests that the southeast has the best baseball overall, I would guess his colleagues from places like Texas, Arizona, and Southern California might find his observation a bit parochial.

In my experience, the milder climates do tend to feature better baseball overall - but only in the general case.
