Yesteday, Daryl "The Preacher" and I officiated a girls' jr. H.S. DH (7th grade game followed by an 8th grade game). The visitor's team colors were maroon and white. Section 5: Team Member’s Equipment, Apparel
Article 1: .....The referee shall not permit any team member to wear equipment or apparel which, in his/her judgment, is dangerous or confusing to other players or is not appropriate.
NOT!!!
The players were wearing the socks as described but I thought I would give everybody and April Fool's Day joke a month early.
