Had my last action of the season tonight. Two 8th grade consolation games, girls then boys. The girls game went to two OT's, the boys to one OT.
If I had shown any common sense, we would have avoided the double OT. I called a charge on what would have been the winning layup with three seconds left. It wasn't a vicious charge, but it was enough. I know a lot of guys wouldn't have gone after it, but instinct kicked in.
Stupid instinct.
