On Friday, March 31, the Oregon prep all-stars played the Washington prep all-stars in a boys game and a girls game at the University of Portland. As an Oregonian, it gives me great pleasure to report that Oregon won both games, giving us a 5-2 lead in both the boys and girls series.
The boys won 127-96 and the girls score was 69-59. Boy's high scorer was Brandon Brooks of Jefferson with 28 points and 6 rebounds. The girl's stars were Betsy Boardman of Beaverton and Jaci McCormick of Lake Oswego.
Needless to say, the refs did their usual outstanding job.
