People freaking out should never be a factor. If they freak out at you, just call the "T". There's nothing wrong with a baseball heave either to show the ejection imo. Just don't be over-dramatic with it. And then just calmly inform the coaches
why the ejection occurred.
I was just guessing why the FED doesn't have a formal ejection signal, is all.
Your paperwork gets done after the game. The scorer does the paperwork during the game. Just tell the scorer to note the player #, the time and a reason somewhere on the sheet.
