But that wasn't my point. I'm of the opinion that every sport should have a season. Any season for softball should not include the months of November, December, January or February. There is plenty of time to play softball during the remaining 2/3 of the year.

Actually, buying into your philosphy of a sport season, the time to
not have games in Texas would be July, August and September. Then it is just too darned hot!
