Just to pick a nit, I think you mean "no basket b/c he is touching the rim when the ball is within the
basket". Right? It's not a violation to touch the rim when the ball is above the rim in the cylinder. This too, as Bob J likes to say, is a favorite Fed test question. I got it wrong 10 years ago, and for some reason, it's stuck with me to this day
