I haven't found anything in the rule book giving an exception to the rule of basket interference. In my opinion, I think that if he is touching the rim while the ball goes through, it is basket interference. Even though he was fouled, I haven't found an exception in the book allowing a scored goal in that situation... but I will continue to search for a definate correct answer.
