I would be willing to bet that if you ask a fan that was at the game what kind of shoes the ref wore that you could count the number that knew on one hand. Only another ref would pay attention to that. If you got that big white stripe on, it's about you. Don't give me that crap about it's more comfortable. It's more comfortable because of that big white swoosh and nobody else has it. I agree that the shoe don't make the official. The thing about it is where do you draw the line. If we're going to let that go, than why don't we just let the players wear their shirt tails out? Pants below the hips, etc.
