The trail should be opposite the table. I generally stand about two feet onto the court, at about the free throw line extended.

Lead is table side. It dawned on me last Saturday that as lead, I’m standing too close to the players in two-whistle.

The shot goes up, and comes down and hits B1 on the head and flies out of bounds. It was so smooth a motion, I assumed the basket was made and waited for B to do the throwin. All the kids just stared at me for a second, and A1 finally says, “Our ball, right?” I can only assume it grazed the rim because I wasn’t looking up, and the trail didn’t have a whistle. I forgot to ask him about it after the game.
