There is no excuse for a jackass like that. It's surprising that he ever became a D-1 official w/ such poor judgment! Have your referee organization write a letter to him and CC: his assignor on how unacceptable his behavior is (that would have more weight than just a letter from an individual). Let us know what the outcome is...to tar and feather him would be too tame.
