And you mention that I should not be a prude and let them have fun. I did let them have fun. In my post, I told about what they did after they stopped the stupid yelling. They had a blast. They cheered for the girls and did wheelbarrow races. It was so much better after I told them to knock it off.

So I was able to discontinue obnoxious behavior and I allowed the positive supportive behavior. Is there really anything wrong with that?

Well, you have a right to your opinion. I think you open yourself up for other problems trying to stop something like that yourself. And if you want that to stop, what else are you trying to stop them from saying? As long the players did not have a problem with it, or their actions were not personal, I personally do not have a problem. But to each his own I guess.
