Than you are going to love to hear that there is a movement to bring a cork core ball back to softball. It will not change with humidity, but it will not jump off a supped up bat. HR hitters will hit HRs, others will have to learn to hit them where they ain't and the game, once again, starts to look more like the softball we once knew. Of course, like I said, this is only a movement, nothing has been done to effect such a change.
