I can see the ball if the majority of the players don't like it.
The other? That's one of the reasons I gave up watching the NBA also. That is about as far as you can get from having a new rule. They stopped enforcing the old rule, which is the same rule as now, about 10-15 years ago. As a result, the players now spend more time whining, moaning and b!tching than they do playing ball.
Typical NBA play? I was switching channels about a week ago and stopped to watch a few minutes of the Knick's game. The Knicks were down 24 in the third quarter. Eddy Curry had a rebound come right to him with no one near. He went back back up and dunked the ball...which really isn't a big deal, seeing he's 7 feet tall...and then he stood there, roaring and screaming and pounding his chest. As an announcer pointed out, at that time he now had 4 freaking points and two freaking rebounds. Meanwhile, the other team was merrily running down the other end, playing 5 on 4. I just shook my head, said Same sh!t, different day" and turned the channel.
Give me a call when the NBA All-Stars can beat Argentina again.
