Glad I held the whistle
Play underneath A's basket. Ball heads out of bounds off team A. A1 leaps OOB and saves ball by having it richochet off B1. A1 lands OOB facing the court. As I wait for the ball to hit the floor to blow my whistle, ball lands on A1's foot instead. Ball awarded to team B. Coach A was not happy, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
