I think the easiest way to make the adjustments back and forth, is to develop a set of mantras that you can sort of chant to yourself as you are driving to the game, and then in the first few minutes. Here are some of mine.

Going into a JH girls game: "Call the obvious, watch for illegal screens, quick on the held ball."

Going from JH girls into boys V ( I make this shift a lot during the off season) "Hold the whistle, let 'em play, but call the obvious. Watch for advantage. Keep an eye in the post."

Then into JV girls,: "Quick on the held ball, call the contact tight, no cheap and-1's".

You'll develop your own. Even so, eventually, I think you have to start to cut out the lowest level games, except for real emergencies. I know around here there are some college assignors that won't "let" you work JH games. They don't like how it affects their games.
