In our association in CA, our yearly fee is $85 (went up recently).

How do we get paid? For high school games, the schools typically send checks to our treasurer. The treasurer then issues our checks to each individual official . What our treasurer does is just lump the checks together. So if you did 5 games at 5 different schools at $20 a piece, he would send you one $100 check.

Typically we get checks twice a season. Once around January for the preseason games and then another around March/April for the regular season and/or postseason games.

If you ref adult leagues and other things, checks typically are sent from the league itself. It all really depends.

As for game pay for high school, it varies with the league you are reffing. I don't have it in front of me, but it's probably in the $50 to $60 range for varsity and $40 to $49 or so for JV/Frosh games.
