Gentlemen,
A number of times in the past, I have freely admitted that I had never umpired a real baseball game in my life.
With the current "Fall Ball" season, that has changed. I have now umpired a grand total of eight baseball games.
I enjoy it. I've got a lot to work on. Thanks to all of you who have helped me get reasonably well prepared for this new avocation.
Just thought I'd let you know.
