I agree with Bob & Wille.
When the low post players move over and then the ball moves over same side close down to position #1 on the weak side- - take a look at where the ball is and be sure its not about to be shot--THEN move across to strong side( #1 or#2 postion) with your shoulders squared to the play and focus into the key area concentrating on the low post strong side play- NEVER move across when the ball is in the air on a shot. When your partner sees you come across he./ she should move slightly towards centre court and help out on the weak side coverage. Anticipate the pass into the low post when all this happens and most of the time you will be in the best position for both close in attempts and rebounding action . This is the best you can do in a 2 man system.
