Right. Now, if there was to be only ONE free-throw following the time-out, the sub would have to wait until the next dead ball. I believe the key, when a sub checks in after the warning horn, is that he must wait until the first dead ball following the next live ball. With two throws at the line, the ball is live during the first one and dead when that throw ends. So, he can then enter legally.
