I publish an annual basketball state preview, and try to print the major NFHS and NCAA rule changes in terms fans at least have a partial shot at understanding. With regard to the new rule not granting the airborne player's time out when he ultimately lands oob or into the backcourt-what happens if his teammate is the one signaling the TO while the player with possession is airborne? Is that time out still granted, or now ignored? Thanks in advance.
