I have too agree with refnrev, we would all like to be perfect. I work hard to be the best official that I can be. Do I get them all right, I hope so but there are so many grey areas. The one's that keep me up at night are the one's that I wish that I had or hadn't blown the whistle. Then you know what you have to let it go and get on when the next play and get it right.
I used to umpire baseball and softball everytime that I worked the plate and I felt that I may have missed a play or a pitch, I would clean the plate, and get the next one right. BTW I had the cleanest plate in St. Louis.
