Fellow Officials,
Even though an article regarding this was posted on this web site a few days ago, I had not read it.
At a High School meeting last night, I found out that one of the officials involved is a colleague/friend of mine.
Kip Luna of New Mexico is a great person and a fine official.
He currently works D-1 in the BIg Sky Conference, as well as some lower levels,
and worked with me for two years in the IBL.
The latest I heard is that he is fighting for his life!
Apparently he has spinal damage and is developing pneumonia.
I ask that you take a moment and include Kip as well as the other officials involved in this accident, in your thoughts and prayers. It can't hurt.
