We all have missed a call. no problem. Cover this in the pregame. If my partner comes to me, I'm changing the call. I know my partner will not come to me unless he/she is 110% sure. I would suggest changing your question. Your question ask for an explanation. He has already explained what he saw by making the call. I'm sure you can get plenty of ideas on this forum. I always ask, " did you get a good look". It's just a formality to get together so your partner call make the change.
