5th grade boys game between 2 small town teams. My 22 year-old partner is working the game even though his brother is playing for A team. Nice guy, and he hasn't seemed biased in any way.

Ball goes OOB on B's baseline. Partner is lead and calls B's ball. I had a clear view and saw A.littlebrother touch ball last. Unfortunately, everyone in the stands saw the same thing. I head towards baseline and ask partner if he called what he meant to call. He says, "Yes," so I back off to my position.

Did I handle this correctly? I don't want to show up my partner, and it was in his area.

FYI, the next game we worked, my partner says that his brother confessed to touching the ball. I knew I should have made my partner wager something on it!
