Yeah, I forget who it was. Tigers on 1st and 3rd, nobody out. Ground ball hit to Lowell at third. R3 stutter steps, gets a slow start, then decides to head home. (Maybe thinking Lowell was going to 2nd for the double play?)
Anyway, Lowell boxes it around for second, gathers the ball and still has time to throw out the runner at the plate. I don't think the runner was loafing; I think it was indecision.

Rodriguez (there was only one "Pudge" -- my man Fisk) makes his first professional appearance at second base last night. I don't think he even got a chance to make a play.
