Besides buying the NCAA Rules Book directly from the NCAA and the CCA Officials Manuals (3-man for both mens' and women's) check with your assignor to see if he will have a pre-season rules clinic. You can also register to attend one of the NCAA Reginal Clinics which are mandatory for Div. I officials.

I have to say, the best mechanics book out there is the CCA Officials Manuals. They are a great help, especially if you are new to 3-whistle.
