With the larger white stripes and the smaller emphasis on the black, I'm not sure that there will be enough contrast provided with the team wearing white jerseys. Afterall, the team jersey does have a colored number on the front and back of it. I hope that they don't find more umpires getting crushed as a consequence of the new shirt. |
Perhaps they're looking to open up some more umpire positions, without having to pay severance to those leaving
