ASA Rule 8.7.L Exception is an example. It originated in NCAA when one or more coaches complained that without the Exception, it would take a no hitter away from their pitchers. If you award BR 1B, scored it a hit.

It is also likely that ASA and NHFS will move the pitching distance to 43 feet for ALL age groups.
