We did not know that when we bought it last year and he suffered a concussion when a foul ball BROKE one of the welds that hold the bars together. I took one shot and it caved in the right side of the mask. Personally, I would not trust this mask and ANY level.

If your looking for a replacement, Diamond just came out with a new mask that is one of the lightest on the market (and does NOT sacrifice saftey). Also, All-Star has a really light double bar mask (the bars are really thin) and a few of the big leaguers have switched to it.
Sal, Thanks for that. I actually told POS + to forget my order and did order the ALL STAR mask that you are talking about here. If it arrives on time, I will glowingly endorse the vendor on these here pages
