Remember this everytime you or your partner or somebody you knows gets behind the plate without a chest protector. Sure you may be able to deal with the pain of a blow to the collar bone, but how does your family deal with the pain of your death?

We are going through a heat wave in CA and my last tourney was 114 (last sat/sun 18U nat warmup) 3 umps had to quit because of the heat.. I was very tempted to go without a chest protector for the first time, I was just so hot- I didnt though.
I ve taken some good shots off mine, just didnt want to take the chance.
