No, Nikola Tesla did most of his research and experiments here in the US while working for Thomas Edison. His invention of the radio was his biggest claim to fame but his studies and theories helped the inception of AC current. I need to quit watching the History Channel.
Also, he wasn't Russian, he was Serbian.
