Rule 8
Sec.9 THE RUNNER IS OUT
EFFECT – Sec.9g-j
(…)
4. Additional out appeals may be made after the third out as long as they are made properly and are made to remove a run, or made to reinstate the correct batting order.

This is (part) of the rule in ISF Rulebook.
According to my opinion it is formulated well as long as it leave a wide range of possibilities...

Referring to the OP... well, I still have BR out and a tie => go to extra-inning...
Did I misunderstand something?

Thanks
