Agree- NCAA rule 10-11 is pretty explicit on that. Assistant coaches are like players; they can stand to cheer a good play but then they gotta sit right back down. The "Womens Report" for 2005-06 at the front of the rulebook also states "The head coach shall be the only person standing in the bench area and should remain within the coaching box".

Of course, in real life.......

I've seen D1 games with assistant coaches up and down. I don't think that most official care, even if they do happen to notice them, as long as it's quick and they're not b!tching at the officials.
