The alt. possession part ends when the ball is touched, or touches, someone inbounds...the thow-in ends when the ball is controlled...it's all tied up in the team control foul language...in NCAA (Women's anyway) any foul commited by the inbounding team is a team control foul until the throw-in ends (when it is controlled by one of the teams). The alt. possession arrow will switch as soon as the ball is touched...
