NY is 15 after 5

The longest game for me so far this year was a JV game between a historically mediocre program (Team A) and a historically bad program(Team B). Team A finally won by something like 27-7. With very few hits. 4 1/2 innings. In 2 3/4 hours. In 35 degree weather. With a stiff northernly breeze. And, of course, snow flurries. I had the bases, and literally started matching the color of my jacket!

On the other hand, I had Team A from above a year or so ago against a historically GOOD program once ( Team C), and marveled how the Team C coach carefully worked the game, never totally pounding Team A in any one inning..getting his kids all in, getting three different pitchers work. We were out of there 15-0 in an hour and five minutes...
