I posted a similar article last year and got a fairly good response although I failed to state Slowpitch as opposed to Fastpitch.
For Slowpitch we in the UK can offer you a chance to come over for a holiday and earn a little umpiring during the weekend. You have the opportunity to do as many as 16 games a weekend (55 minutes no new inn) which would almost cover the cost of an air ticket.
If you come over it may also be possible to provide accomadation at one of the my fellow umpires houses.
We have tornamnts every weekend around Great Britain, with the main competition being the Grand Slams's with around 50 teams competing.
