If he's been tossed from my game, the norm is that they have to leave the area. To me that means that they can't see the game and the game players can't see them. With that said, I've always held the view that once a manager is off the field, I have nothing more to do with him. What goes on outside the fence, unless it has a direct bearing on the game, has nothing to do with me.

If a manager has been previously suspended, and shows up for a game to watch, I don't even care. There are "powers that be" that are higher than us umpires. If he isn't suppose to be there, the league will take care of it...especially if someone files a report. I call the GAME, and leave everything else get taken care of elsewhere! If he influences the game in anyway, only THEN do I have a problem and will deal with it.
