God Bless, gcarcher. 9/11 is an emotional day to remember. The history of our country is a history of those who willingly stepped into harm's way because of a conviction that larger things exist than our own individual success and well-being. Strangely, the society benefitting from those sacrifices becomes more and more self-focused, but an attack directly aimed at us snaps each of us from our self-centered complacency - the same true heroism that birth'd and continues to prolong our democracy still blossoms when called on.
