How do the Nike's shine up? Have you tried to put Leather Luster on them?
I have had various pairs of patents over the last several seasons just because I'm lazy and don't want to spend any time polishing shoes. But the ones I really liked, they don't make any more (Converse). I had a problem with the OC's - the lace holder loops kinda pulled away from the inside of the shoe, but they are still useable and comfortable. I've also used a pair of the Spot Builts, but somehow they don't seem quite as comfortable. As I get older, it seems like things don't fit and work like they used to.  |
Just finished my 3rd season with the Converse Whistle Shoe. I only used them about 60% of the time this year as I was breaking in a backup pair. I never took a chance on the OC shoes that 'replaced' the Converse. A real comfortable shoe. Too bad they only had size 4 available last season [2004-05] or I would have gotten a 2nd pair.
