Obstruction in FED

Here's one I saw quite recently, interested in opinions. Perhaps another 'dont follow the letter of the law' deals?

Bases empty. Batter hits a blooper to shallow RF, it falls just beyond a diving F4 about 20 feet behind the infield. R1 takes a turn around 1B, and has turned and is trotting back to the bag when clueless F3 (who was watching F4 retreive the ball) steps into his path and they 'bump' "oops, sorry, dude" (stopping R1 in his tracks momentarily). R1 recovers and steps around F3 and gets to 1B. There was no play on him, while this was happening F4 was throwing back to F1 on the mound (ie, playing action was 'relaxing'). R1 never had any intention of trying for 2B.

Question. This is technically OBS in FED, IMO (R1 was obstructed during playing action, and he has already acquired 1B, and he is entitled to at least one base beyond his present position. Intent to advance is irrelevant).

Should R1 be awarded 2B?
